Location: Grizzly Plaza, at the corner of Mackenzie and Victoria in downtown Revelstoke

In Stacey’s self-penned songs, such as Lonesome Rambler and I Can’t Breathe, one senses the wisdom of an old soul singing songs of hope, heartbreak, loss, bittersweet memories and let’s not forget strength.  And Stacey boldly shines a light on some laid-to-rest darker sides of life, in songs such as, Back Against the Wall or Weeping Willow.  With a voice like Jann Arden, Pam Tillis and Martina McBride, Stacey embraces her roots in Americana when performing, delivering an artful blend of heartfelt vocals, with a fusion of folk, blues, country, & sometimes a touch of bluegrass. Personal accolades include nominations for best female vocalist for the BC Country Music Association and acknowledgments from various songwriting contests too numerous to mention. Joanne Stacey is an honest, all-round artist who absolutely loves to connect with her audience and says the best show she has ever experienced was when she was just being herself, raw and open, inviting the audience along for the ride.  She leaves it all on the stage when she performs and her commitment to the truth shines in her lyrics. That is Joanne Stacey’s gift.  A true artist, an engaging performer, and a gifted songwriter.
