Boundless by Ballet Kelowna

Ballet Kelowna returns to the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre with Boundless, a mixed repertory programme designed to engage and inspire audiences of all ages.

The Company premieres a unique work thatdynamically portrays a social issue impacting young people today. Created in collaboration with Okanagan youth, renowned Canadian choreographer Matjash Mrozewski, and acclaimed Canadian composer Owen Belton, this innovative new work aims to ignite conversation and initiate social change. Glas, a fresh and youthful work by 2015 Clifford E. Lee Choreography Awardwinner Gabrielle Lamb, is inspired by the stunning blue-green colour of the Bow River in Alberta, and was commissioned by The Banff Centre in partnership with Ballet Kelowna.

The dancers’ athleticism and technical prowess will be on full display in a signature classical excerpt, and Ballet Kelowna’s Artistic Director and CEO Simone Orlando remounts one of her own popular works. From exciting new contemporary ballets to the classical masterworks, come witness Ballet Kelowna at its best in Boundless!
